Other Information: Owner of Canton Martial Arts, Master Ron Mann is a sixth-degree black belt
who is officially certified with the World Tae Kwon Do Federation in Korea. He has trained
with Master B. C. Yu for over thirteen years after studying with Hee Il Cho. He has taught
for over twelve years, having been certified through Master Yu's Teacher Training College.
Master Mann has attended highly acclaimed self-defense seminars and has tournament experience
both as a competitor and a judge.
Master Mann has adopted Master Yu's unique eurhythmic approach to teaching, in which patterns
of movements are rhythmically repeated over and over with increasing speed so that self-defense
reflexes are conditioned kinesthetically. In a dangerous situation, the body's memory reacts
instinctively without any analytical mental process to slow it down. Students master martial
arts techniques more quickly and easily with this dynamic method.
