March 2011 Parent / Child Day: Saturday April 16th, 10:30 a.m. Bring your parents in to have some fun with you at your studio. We will have an hour of fun drills for you and your parents. Space is limited; please pre-register on the sign up sheet in the hallway. Next Testing Dates
Self Defense Class April 30th Join us on the last Saturday of April for a self defense class 10:30-11:45. These classes are open to the public. If you or anyone you know are interested, check in the office for details. The classes cover grabs, chokes, knife, and gun self-defense. There is a $5 fee for students and $15 fee for non students. Students repeating the course receive ½ off. Groups of 6 or more will receive a discount. See Master Ron or Master Teresa for details. We also open self- defense class for Girl Scouts and Boy Scout troops. Check in the office if your troop or other group would be interested in a self defense class. (Free one time to our students' troops) Welcome New Students

Free Tuition for Parents in March Have you ever thought about training with your child; why not give it a try? Pay for three months for your current student and parents can train free for one month. See Master Ron or Master Teresa for details. Buddy Day: March 5th, 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Bring a friend to visit the studio for some FREE fun, drills, and prizes. Space is limited; you and your friend must pre-register. (Sign up in the hallway.) Student of the Month Pranav Hosdurga has been voted by instructors and peers as March's Student of the Month. Congratulations, Pranav! Red Stripe For students nominated as Student of the Month by an instructor or assistant instructor and who voted. Congratulations to David, Kanmani, Madison, and Shibangi who earned a red stripe. Earn Your Orange Stripe Twice a year we encourage you to set goals for home, school or work, and the studio. Bring your written goals into the studio by March 31st to earn your orange stripe. Only one orange stripe per belt and you are required to set goals prior to testing to green, red, red/black and any level of black belt. At every test where you break you should be setting goals. |
